If your Mac is a Intel processor Mac, then simply call Apple for 10.6 white Snow Leopard upgrade disks, then since you don't have a backup of your data off the machine, you need to do this first.Ĭreate a data recovery/undelete external boot drive If your iMac is a PPC G5 iMac (not a Intel processor Mac) then you will have to search online or on eBay etc for copies of the 10.5 install disks and they will want a lot of money. 10.5 is obsolete and Apple doesn't carry those disks anymore or issues software updates for it.
